Rig only · for your art

Live2D Rigging Commission

Already have your VTuber art? I’ll rig it in Live2D Cubism and hand over a model that’s ready for VTube Studio: head and body turns on XYZ, face tracking, a mouth rig, hair and clothing physics and expressions.

What’s included

Every rig comes in one of two tiers. Base covers everything a model needs to stream; Advanced puts more parameters into each part of the model, so the movement is deeper and more detailed.

Base

  • Head turns on XYZ
  • Body turns on XYZ
  • Basic face tracking and a mouth rig
  • Breathing
  • Basic hair and clothing physics
  • 3 static expressions

Advanced

  • Deep head turns on XYZ
  • Body turns on XYZ, leaning back and forth
  • Stepping motion on XYZ turns
  • Advanced face tracking: more expressive eyes and brows
  • Advanced hair and clothing physics, extra hip and hand physics
  • 3 static expressions

Need more? Extra and animated expressions, a sleep animation, clothing toggles, a tail that reacts to a smile and VBridger (ARKit face tracking on an iPhone, $50) are available as add-ons.

Rig prices

A rig-only price is the rig part of my model price list. Add a rig to the cart, or send me your PSD and brief first for an exact quote.

Model typeBaseAdvanced
Halfbodywaist up $150rig only $400rig only
Fullbodyfull height $250rig only $500rig only
Chibimini version $150rig only $300rig only

Dollar prices are a guide (100 ₽ = $1): payment is in rubles, and I send the details once we’ve agreed on the brief. The final price depends on the design and the features you need. Rush orders are +25%, private (NDA) orders +20%, and commercial use is priced by agreement.

What you need to provide

  • A layered PSD. Every part that moves on its own layer, with hidden areas painted in. Not sure yours is ready? Here’s how to prepare a PSD for Live2D rigging.
  • References. Your character sheet, close-ups of important details and clips of rigs whose movement you like.
  • A short brief. The expressions and toggles you want, physics wishes, where you’ll stream (VTube Studio, plus an iPhone if you want VBridger) and whether the model will be used commercially.

If the art needs extra drawing, re-separating or hidden parts filled in, that work is priced separately. The full checklist is in what files a rigging commission needs.

How the rigging goes

  1. Brief and PSD checkI go through your PSD and brief within 1–2 days, point out anything that’s missing and confirm the price and timeline.
  2. BookingA booking (usually 25%; the exact amount is set in your order terms) secures your place in the queue and is part of the payment before I start — usually 50%.
  3. RiggingFace and mouth, head and body turns, physics and expressions, built in Live2D Cubism. I show you the rig as it comes together.
  4. Your notesSend your notes as one list. Changes within the original brief are part of the work, up to three rounds per stage.
  5. DeliveryThe second half is paid before hand-over. You get the model files and 14 days to report any technical issue, fixed for free.

What you get at the end

  • A ready model for VTube Studio
  • Textures
  • Physics
  • Expressions
  • Setup instructions

Questions about rig-only orders

Can you rig art drawn by another artist?+

Yes, that’s exactly what a rig-only order is. The PSD needs to be properly prepared and separated for Live2D. If it needs extra drawing or re-separating, I’ll tell you after the PSD check and price that work separately.

How long does a rig take?+

It depends on the complexity and my queue. I confirm exact dates after the brief. If you need it fast, there’s a +25% rush surcharge.

What if something breaks after delivery?+

After hand-over you have 14 calendar days to check the rig. Deformation, physics or parameter errors, or a feature from the brief that doesn’t work right, are fixed free of charge. New features and changes to an approved rig are priced separately.

Do I get the Cubism project files?+

By default you get a ready model for VTube Studio. The working files (.cmo3, .can3) are handed over by agreement and may be priced separately, so mention it before we start.

How do I pay?+

Message me on Telegram or VK, we agree on the brief, and I send the payment details. Payment is in rubles: a booking (usually 25%), usually 50% in total before the start, and the second half before the files are handed over. The exact amounts are set in your order terms.
